The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort

The St. Regis Bora Bora sets 90 overwater and beach villas across the forty-four-acre private islet of Motu Ome'e, three areas linked by pedestrian bridges and facing Mount Otemanu along the island's northern coastline. These are the largest overwater villas in the South Pacific — from around 1,550 square feet up to the three-bedroom Royal Estate of roughly 13,000 square feet, a private expanse unequalled in the Pacific — with Italian-marble baths, sunken tubs, glass-floor panels over the lagoon and, on many, private plunge or swimming pools. Dining centres on Lagoon by Jean-Georges, the overwater signature room of French-Asian cooking set over the resort's private Lagoonarium with Mount Otemanu views, alongside Te Pahu for Polynesian dining and a Wednesday Polynesian show, the ocean-fresh Sushi Take, a beachside grill, and the Aparima and 727 bars. The Miri Miri Spa by Clarins occupies its own island in the Lagoonarium, around thirteen thousand square feet of Tahitian, Pacific Rim and Clarins treatments with a hydrotherapy room and morning yoga — a complimentary visit even without a booking. Two outdoor pools, a main pool and an adults-only jetty pool with a swim-up bar, sit beside the Lagoonarium itself, an enclosed marine park where guests snorkel among black-tip sharks and rays. Round-the-clock St Regis butler service runs throughout, a kids' club and library round out the resort, and the whole stay is anchored by Two Michelin Keys — the honeymoon benchmark of Bora Bora, with the larger villas and the Royal Estate catering equally well to families.
