Conrad Bora Bora Nui

The Conrad Bora Bora Nui occupies a private cove at the south-west end of Motu To'opua, the only resort on the island facing the open ocean and reef — and the only one in Bora Bora with unobstructed sunset views — along its longest stretch of private white-sand beach, with Mount Otemanu rising behind from the water. Its 114 villas and suites run from family-friendly garden and lagoon-view suites to overwater villas on the pontoon or a man-made motu, beach pool villas, hilltop Infinity and Pilotis villas with private pools and panoramic terraces, and the Presidential Villas — Bora Bora's only two-storey overwater villas, with two master bedrooms, two decks, a pool, hot tub, sauna and butler. Dining spans five venues, led by the signature French fine dining of Iriatai, the Mediterranean and Polynesian Tamure Beach Grill, and the Upa Upa Lounge Bar, whose glass-panel floor looks down on fish and sharks and frames the island's best sunsets, with a traditional Ahi Ma'a sand-oven dinner and a weekly Polynesian show. The hilltop Hina Spa has open-air treatment rooms over the lagoon, using Biologique Recherche products, with sauna, steam and yoga. A tiered infinity pool — among the island's largest — carries Bora Bora's only swim-up bar, and a short ride away lies Motu Tapu, the resort's exclusive private islet, set for a gourmet picnic and Champagne. A Tamari'i Kids Club with miniature golf, snorkelling with stingrays, and the Stay Inspired activity programme round out a stay on the sunset side of the island.
