Our Habitas AlUla is a sustainable, experience-led desert resort in AlUla's Ashar Valley box canyon, with villas folded into an ancient oasis and palm groves near Hegra and AlUla old town. Opened in 2021 with a festival-born, community-minded spirit, it is the social, programming-driven counterpoint to AlUla's quieter retreats, around thirty minutes from AlUla International Airport. Its 96 villas span Alcove, Canyon, Celestial (with telescopes), Art, Wellness and the largest Arabian categories — each with king beds, indoor and outdoor showers, a private deck and an e-bike, sharing a large, photogenic communal pool, as there are no in-villa pools. Dining centres on the farm-to-table Tama, with regionally inspired Middle Eastern and international cooking over the valley, and the Ashar Deck lounge for sunrise yoga and sundowners. Six programming pillars — wellness, adventure, music, arts and culture, food and learning — fill the days, from sunrise yoga and live local musicians to canyon treks, camel rides, ATV tours, stargazing through Celestial-villa telescopes, an artist in residence and a weekly outdoor cinema. The spa adds regionally informed treatments and an outdoor wellness 'agora', with meditation and fitness beside the communal pool. Near Hegra UNESCO and alcohol-free, it pairs sustainability with genuine social energy.
