Islas Secas Reserve & Lodge

Islas Secas is a fourteen-island private archipelago in the Gulf of Chiriquí off Panama's Pacific coast, with only one island developed and the other thirteen left untouched, near the UNESCO waters of Coiba National Park. Seven casitas and the four-bedroom Casa Cavada villa spread across four 'island-within-an-island' sites — each with an outdoor deck, a plunge pool, a thatched cabana and Pacific views, some with roll-up walls and outdoor soaking tubs — holding just eighteen to twenty-four guests at a time. The whole reserve runs entirely on solar with a working conservation foundation, and stays are all-inclusive: dining and guided diving for certified divers, snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, marine safaris and nature cruises, with some premium activities extra. The open-air Terraza pavilion serves daily-changing local seafood under a cathedral ceiling beside the Pacific, and a spa and yoga sit among the communal and per-casita plunge pools. Diving and snorkelling reach Coiba and the wider Gulf, sportfishing runs to the Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa, humpback whales pass between July and September, and a fleet of six private yachts opens the archipelago. It suits couples, families, buyout groups and eco-and-adventure travellers — a multi-island, activity-driven escape, distinct from the single intimate island nearby.
