Coral Reef Club

Coral Reef Club has been owned by the O'Hara family for around fifty years, an elegant West Indian plantation-style resort on the calm west coast at Holetown, set in twelve acres of gardens running down to a white-sand beach — a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, with a hidden-Caribbean-village feel. Eighty-eight rooms, cottages and suites spread through the gardens, the Plantation and Luxury Cottage Suites adding private plunge pools, some set in the original coral-stone great house. A single award-winning beachfront restaurant changes its menu daily, with four weekly buffets — Bajan, barbecue, curry and Oriental — and nightly jazz and calypso through the winter, while exchange dining links it to its sister hotel, The Sandpiper, a short walk away. The colonial-style spa has four treatment rooms and an outdoor couples' pavilion with waterfalls, on a bed-and-breakfast or half-board base around forty-five minutes from the airport. It is traditional west-coast luxury for couples, families and loyal returning guests.
