Atlantis The Royal

Atlantis The Royal is Dubai's most talked-about modern opening — a stacked-block landmark on the outer crescent of Palm Jumeirah, crowned by a sky bridge, and the celebrity-chef capital of the city. Opened in 2023 and ranked among the World's 50 Best Hotels, it holds around 795 rooms and suites, 44 of them Sky Pool Villas with private glass-sided pools, and ninety pools in all, the highest of them the 22nd-floor Cloud 22 sky infinity pool with 360-degree skyline views. Dining runs from Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Nobu by the Beach to Jaleo by José Andrés, Estiatorio Milos and Carbone, with La Mar by Gastón Acurio and Ariana's Persian Kitchen alongside, and the three-Michelin-star FZN by Björn Frantzén at the neighbouring Atlantis The Palm. The Awaken Spa runs to more than thirty thousand square feet with a hammam sensorium, an elements-themed retreat circuit and a 25-metre lap pool, while the Skyblaze fire-and-water fountain and a vast tank of around four thousand moon jellyfish are among the set pieces, and the shared Aquaventure Waterpark and Lost Chambers Aquarium sit next door. It skews towards glamour and grown-up celebration, though the waterpark and aquarium are real family draws. On a room-only or bed-and-breakfast basis, around 35 to 45 minutes by road from the airport.
