Time + Tide Tsara Komba

Tsara Komba is barefoot eco-luxury with genuine credentials: just eight villas on the forested slopes of Nosy Komba, Lemur Island, in the Nosy Be archipelago, and a member of National Geographic's Unique Lodges of the World — an independent listing, not a self-claim. Black lemurs and chameleons live on the island, the snorkelling and diving reach into the Nosy Tanikely reserve and Lokobe National Park, and the kitchen at the Divine House draws on the sea and an organic garden. Six Ocean View Lodges of around 90 m² and two larger Ocean View Suites look out across the channel, all thatched, with semi-open bathrooms and private terraces in a forest-to-reef setting; there are no roads or cars on the island. Run by Time + Tide, the same operator as Miavana, it is typically full-board with most activities included, and adds Madagascar's wildlife dimension to a stay. Reached by a flight to Nosy Be and a 25-minute boat, it suits couples and nature-led families. It is priced on application.
