Overview
Silversea's classic ship, converted for the poles
Silversea Silver Cloud

Silver Cloud is Silversea's original 1994 ship, ice-strengthened and converted for the poles — around 200 guests in polar waters with a near one-to-one crew ratio and a butler in every suite, most with a private veranda. It is all-inclusive of premium drinks, gratuities, Wi-Fi and excursions, with a pre-cruise hotel night and charter flights on polar voyages. Four to five dining venues include La Dame by Relais & Chateaux, alongside a heated pool with hot tubs, the Zagara spa, and eighteen-plus Zodiacs with kayaks. In the high Arctic the ship sails Svalbard and Greenland, working the fjords of Spitsbergen for polar bears and walrus and threading the iceberg waters of Greenland's coast, with naturalist-led Zodiac landings shaping the days. Spacious, inclusive and strong value for a luxury polar expedition, it carries Silversea comfort and a butler in every suite to the ends of the earth.

Accommodation
All-suite, mostly with verandas
Around 200 guests sail across eight suite categories, roughly eighty percent with verandas, from the window-view Vista Suite to a fifty-four-square-metre Silver Suite and the Owner's Suite, each with a butler and a marble bath. Spacious and inclusive, the suites carry Silversea comfort into polar waters, the fjords and the icebergs framed from the private verandas, a butler on hand throughout the voyage. The near one-to-one crew ratio shows in the service, and the largest suites add separate living areas and some of the most generous verandas in polar cruising, the ice drifting past the glass.

Activities & Experiences
Signature Experiences
Svalbard, Greenland and the polar light define a voyage — work the fjords of Spitsbergen for polar bears and walrus, thread the iceberg waters of Greenland's coast, and land by eighteen-plus Zodiacs and kayaks. The polar wildlife of the high Arctic — seals, walrus and seabirds — the glaciers and ice, and La Dame dining by Relais & Chateaux round out the days under the Silversea flag. Eighteen-plus Zodiacs mean plenty of time off the ship, and a strong record in Svalbard and Greenland brings the high Arctic's polar bears, walrus and seabird cliffs within reach of the bow.

The Arctic
Arctic Bath
Arctic Bath is an architectural floating spa hotel on the Lule River at Harads in Swedish Lapland — a timber circle around an open-air, ice-cold plunge pool fed by the river, ringed by saunas, that floats in summer and freezes into the ice in winter. Just 12 glass-fronted cabins surround it: six cosy water cabins on the river and six two-storey land cabins for families, all heated with wood-burning stoves. A Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World with one Michelin Key, it pairs the sauna-and-cold-dip ritual with Scandinavian set-menu dining and dog sledding under the northern lights. Design-led Arctic wellness.
