Overview
A Discovery Yacht for Antarctica
Scenic Eclipse II

Scenic Eclipse II is Scenic's all-suite Discovery Yacht — carrying just 200 guests in Antarctica across 114 all-suite, all-verandah cabins, each with a private butler and a near one-to-one crew ratio. It is the only expedition product pairing two onboard helicopters with a nine-person submarine that dives to two hundred metres, so guests can take to the air and the deep on the same voyage. Up to ten dining venues, nine bars, the 550-square-metre Senses Spa and indoor and outdoor pools sit alongside Zodiacs, kayaks and a Discovery Team of polar specialists. The yacht sails Antarctica with the South Georgia and Falkland Islands on longer voyages — the king-penguin colonies and Shackleton's grave at Grytviken among them — embarking Ushuaia at the southern tip of Argentina, reached on a charter flight from Buenos Aires. Days bring Zodiac and kayak landings among penguins and ice, helicopter flightseeing over the glaciers and the rare chance to dive beneath the surface. Expedition authenticity with the standards of a private yacht, fully all-inclusive.

Activities & Experiences
Signature Experiences
Helicopters, a submarine and the ice itself define a voyage — take helicopter flightseeing over the ice from two onboard helicopters, dive to two hundred metres in a nine-person submarine, and land by Zodiac and kayak among penguins and ice. The glaciers and icebergs of the Peninsula, the king penguins and Shackleton's grave of South Georgia on longer voyages, and a near one-to-one crew ratio round out the days. Pairing two helicopters with a nine-person submarine is unique in expedition cruising, letting guests take to the air and the deep on a single voyage, with South Georgia's king-penguin colonies on the longer sailings.
