Galapagos Safari Camp

Galapagos Safari Camp is the only luxury tented safari camp in the islands — a family-owned, African-inspired camp on a highland farm on the rim of an extinct volcano on Santa Cruz, bordering the National Park where giant tortoises wander the grounds. Nine canvas safari tents stand on decks with hammock balconies, teak furniture and park-and-ocean views, two of them Family Safari Tents, alongside a three-bedroom Family Suite for larger groups. A small infinity pool sits under endemic trees, a panoramic lodge gathers everyone for all-day dining, and a Kids Club makes it the most family-friendly base in the Galapagos. All-inclusive, tailor-made land-and-sea safaris range from snorkelling with sea lions and visiting flamingo lagoons to Tortuga Bay, the highland tortoise reserves and the Charles Darwin Research Station near Puerto Ayora. The Galapagos were the first place inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the camp sits among their wildlife, reached via Baltra from Quito or Guayaquil — made for families, couples and active travellers who want the islands with children in tow.
