Overview
RAK’s first overwater villas
Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort

Anantara Mina Al Arab is Ras Al Khaimah's first overwater-villa resort — a Maldives-inspired eco-luxury escape on a private peninsula inside the gated Mina Al Arab mangrove sanctuary, barely an hour from Dubai and a natural twin-centre with the city. Opened in 2024, its 174 keys run from coastal-chic rooms and suites in the main building to traditional riad clusters, pool villas with private plunge pools, and the emirate's first overwater pool villas — thatched-roof one- and two-bedroom villas with private infinity pools, a villa-only beach cabana and a dedicated villa host. Dining is led by the pan-Asian Mekong, drawing on Thailand, Vietnam and China, with coastal Mediterranean at the Beach House, all-day Sea Breeze and a private-chef Dining by Design. The Anantara Spa works through traditional Thai rituals beside a mangrove yoga pavilion, and the days fill with sunset kayaking through the protected mangroves, watersports from paddleboards to yacht cruises, and a kids' club that teaches a little Arabic. On a bed-and-breakfast basis, with complimentary experiences for villa guests, it is the closest thing to the Maldives within an hour of Dubai.
